NBA's Elite Five: The Players Who Achieved a Rare Quadruple Feat

Scoring is an important skill and statistic for NBA players, but so are rebounding, assisting and stealing. Many players can score 2000+ points in a season, many big men can grab 500+ rebounds, many point guards can dish out 500+ assists, and many players can snatch 100+ steals. But only five players in NBA history have achieved all four feats in the same season, and even the legendary Michael Jordan was surpassed by one of them.

The fifth player is Russell Westbrook, who carried the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2016-17 season after losing Kevin Durant. He averaged a triple-double for the season, breaking Oscar Robertson’s record. He also scored 2558 points, grabbed 864 rebounds, dished out 840 assists and stole 132 balls, earning the scoring title and the MVP award.

In the 2005-06 season, he scored 2478 points, grabbed 556 rebounds, dished out 521 assists and stole 123 balls for the Cavaliers. In the 2007-08 season, he scored 2250 points, grabbed 592 rebounds, dished out 539 assists and stole 138 balls for the Cavaliers. In the 2008-09 season, he scored 2304 points, grabbed 613 rebounds, dished out 587 assists and stole 137 balls for the Cavaliers. In the 2009-10 season, he scored 2258 points, grabbed 554 rebounds, dished out 651 assists and stole 125 balls for the Cavaliers.
